While we are getting started, we have just one instructor, who is also the owner and creator of Red Fox Stitchery, Amie Otto. Amie learned to sew from her own mom when she was in elementary school. Later, she taught her own daughter to sew when she was about 7 years old. Currently, she has been teaching kids and adults to sew in Leesburg since 2022. She has taught many different classes such as learning to sew, quilting, and bag making. She has also run summer camps and lead quilt club for both adults and kids. Red Fox Stitchery was born in 2023 when friends in the neighborhood asked if she would ever teach classes locally in Brambleton. She had also been asked many times if there would be a place to buy her creations. After coordinating with the HOA and doing a lot of research, Red Fox Stitchery was born! As a parent, Amie knows it is hard to find things for your kids to do when you don’t. have the day off work. Our classes are meant to be easy for parents and fun for kids. We will provide all the necessary supplies for our projects and the structure to have a great day sewing.
